2. Hosting¶
This website is hosted by a third-party provider. When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This includes:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
- Date and time of access
This data is processed based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as it is necessary for the secure and efficient operation of this website. Server log files are deleted automatically after 30 days.
3. Cookies and Analytics (Matomo)¶
We use Matomo, a self-hosted, open-source web analytics platform, to understand how visitors use this wiki. Matomo is hosted on our own infrastructure; no data is shared with third parties.
Matomo uses cookies to recognize returning visitors and track page views. The following data is collected:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referrer (how you arrived at the site)
- Browser and device information
- Approximate geographic location (based on anonymized IP)
Your IP address is anonymized before being stored. Matomo cookies are only set with your explicit consent via our cookie banner.

4. Search Tracking¶
When you use the wiki search function, your search queries are sent to our server for analytics purposes. This helps us understand what documentation topics are most sought after. No personally identifiable information is stored with search queries.

5. Local Storage¶
This wiki uses your browser's local storage to remember your preferences, such as:
- Color scheme (light/dark mode)
- Navigation state
This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to any server.
